Accident occurred Thursday, October 14, 2004 in Halifax, Canada
Aircraft: Boeing 747-244BC, registration: 9G-MKJ
Injuries: 7 Fatal.

On October 14, 2004, at approximately 3:52 am atlantic daylight time (ADT), MK Airlines cargo flight 1602, a Boeing 747-244BC crashed during takeoff from Halifax International Airport, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. The three flightcrew and four other crewmembers on-board were fatally injured. The investigation is being conducted by the Transportation Safety Board of Canada.
